Course Description:
Explore the times, the place, the people and the events surrounding what is commonly known as “The Gunfight at the OK Corral”. This confrontation in the small mining town of Tombstone, AZ, made national news, including the front page of the New York Times.  It inadvertently created the template for the western movies and television shows in the twentieth century.  It also made Wyatt Earp a household name.  Film clips from six major movies portraying the confrontation will be woven into the narrative that will touch everything from the actors, the laws of the day and the myths that keep this iconic legend alive.

Course Details:
Film clips will be shown from the following movies

The Frontier Marshall, My Darling Clementine, Gunfight at the OK Corral, Power of the Gun, Tombstone and Wyatt Earp.
