The Bluebyrds are a classic 60s band that plays the soundtrack of our lives. Their focus? Folk rock artists from 1965-1969 such as Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, Bob Dylan, The Lovin’ Spoonful, and The Beau Brummels.
Join Oakmont neighbors in a nostalgic glance toward a time when melody and harmony soothed souls. But also voiced concerns of the day. Music was a way to calm the disquiet of a world in transition. One final breath of gentle musicianship before electric guitars banged angst to the forefront.
Together since 2017, band members include Linda Hutchinson, bass & vocals; Rick Minervini, drums; Steven Nank, acoustic & electric guitars, harmonica & vocals; Tom Richardson, acoustic & electric 6 & 12 string guitars & vocals.
You might not be able to help singing along. They won’t mind.
“I thought those times were gone forever. The Bluebyrds bring me right back.”
