Using both common and rare recordings and video clips, Unterberger traces the artistic evolution of the Beatles and the development of the unique musical styles they pioneered and mastered. This in-depth look at the Beatles shows how they were one of the most important agents of social change of the twentieth century, impacting popular music and the culture of their era worldwide. 

Instructor Bio: 

Richie Unterberger is the author of numerous rock history books, including titles on the Beatles, the Who, Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, and the Velvet Underground. His book, The Unreleased Beatles: Music and Film won a 2007 Award for Excellence in Historical Recorded Sound Research.
