SonoMusette has become the darling of all who celebrate the spirit and tradition of 1900s Parisian sidewalk cafe music, known as French chanson.
While audiences experience moody melodies from a time devoted to musical artistry, the French see chanson as much more: an entire culture reflecting the soul of the people through music and poetry.
Formed in 2016 by Robert Lunceford, accordionist, the band is accompanied by Mimi Pirard, vocalist; Isaac Vandeveer, guitar & bass; Jan Martinelli, upright bass & piano; and Kendrick Freeman, drums.
Selections celebrate iconic artists such as Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Jacques Brel, Charles Trenet, Georges Brassens, and Serge Gainsbourg. Discover the magic of Paris, once again.
